Preferred Sands is capable of processing up to 6 million tons of high quality silica sand and 300,000 tons of our resin-coated products annually, and can produce any grade of frac sand upon request. We adjust our product mix according to our customers' needs, and pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to our customers' variable demands.

Our products consistently meet or exceed API / ISO specifications for crush, sphericity, roundness and turbidity as well as create excellent conductivity and permeability for optimal oil and natural gas stimulation and recovery. Other applications include glass, geothermal, solar panels, filtration media (meets AWWA B100 specifications) and recreational sand applications including golf, sports field surfaces and play sand.
